WEST, Tx. -- Bryan Anderson says it's a miracle only a few scratches are all he has to show from this.
Anderson and his nine-year-old were in their pick up when the burning fertilizer plant exploded.
"I can't even begin to describe the concussion,? Anderson said. ?It's just amazing."

Thursday, daylight showed the devastation left behind, but it did not shine any light for those wanting answers. DPS initially confirmed between five and 15 casualties, but 24 hours later, they are confirming more deaths but won?t give a number.
Before Attorney General Greg Abbott toured the scene, he expressed his condolences and spoke to the law behind mass causality situations.
A topic far from the minds of many who are still waiting to see how many were lost in the blast.
Anderson said, "This is my hometown and stuff like this doesn't happen in West, Texas."
ATF investigators are keeping the scene locked down, saying ammonium nitrate in the air makes it unsafe.
"This is block after block with different kinds of damage and each one is a little bit different," said Dan Halyburton of the American Red Cross.
While many expect the number of lives lost to rise, Anderson says he can't believe he and his son lived through this.
"All the superficial stuff, the truck, the house, all that stuff can be replaced,? Andersons aid. ?You can't replace lives and there are a lot of folks that aren't as lucky as us."
And he fears as more time passes, we could learn more weren't as lucky.
